Commercial Refrigeration Gaskets from Cool Seal

Commercial refrigeration gaskets play a key role in the operation of refrigeration, some say it’s the most important part!

We know for sure that a good door seal will keep your unit operating at optimum levels. Your key equipment requires periodic maintenance to work at peak efficiency and prevent costly repairs.

We love fridge gaskets!

Cool Seal Gaskets services all types of commercial refrigeration equipment regardless of manufacturer including hard-to-fit, outdated, or equipment that is no longer manufactured.

We are also the cheapest around, but we don’t like to brag!

Services are limited to non-mechanical  maintenance issues related to the replacement of door gaskets, hardware, or components.

Need new gaskets or door seals?

Fridge door seals can make a huge difference to the operational performance of your units. Make sure you check all your seals and be sure to replace any worn seals as soon as you can.

Commercial Refrigeration Gaskets are our speciality.

It’s what we do best!

Gasket Replacement. Every commercial refrigeration application from walk-in boxes to food drawers requires periodic maintenance particularly the replacement of door or drawer seals (gaskets).  Cool Seal Gaskets specializes in the fabrication and installation of custom replacement gaskets (magnetic door seals) for commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment.

Cool Seal Gaskets are Superior in Every Way …

•    Made to Your Exact Specifications. Refrigeration equipment manufacturers have exact specifications for their particular machines and Cool Seal Gaskets delivers high quality gaskets to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. To help ensure an exact fit, Cool Seal gaskets are fabricated to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Each replacement gasket is measured, cut, welded, and installed according to the particular requirements of each commercial refrigeration/freezer unit by make, model, and year of manufacture.

•    Manufactured in the United States. Cool Seal Gaskets uses raw materials manufactured in the United States that does not contain Lead, Cadmium, or Mercury.

•    Superior Gaskets. Cool Seal gaskets last longer than the original factory installed gaskets because our gaskets are designed to cover more surface area and use more efficient magnets that create a tighter seal preventing leaks that overwork equipment and increase electric consumption. Gaskets fabricated and installed by Cool Seal are guaranteed to meet or exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

•    Exceptional materials. To provide the most cost-effective replacement gasket (cost vs. service life) Cool Seal Gaskets offers a choice of gasket materials in almost every profile (gasket configuration): PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) is used in low-volume applications. Sanaprine®, a heavy duty (and more expensive) material is used for high-volume applications. Sanaprine® thermoplastic rubber gaskets successfully combine performance characteristics of vulcanized rubber, such as flexibility and low compression, with the processing ease of thermoplastics with the result of extending service life (possibility of double).

Hardware Replacement. Our service techs have can replace hardware on walk-in freezers and coolers, reach-in coolers, and any other type of commercial refrigeration unit. Repairs can include hinges, door sweeps, new floors, and other hardware. Repairs are normally made within 24 hours of receiving parts from the manufacturer (availability of parts and their delivery time affect total repair time).

Component Replacement. Walk-in door curtains, replacement doors, and diamond plate (stainless steel protection for doors, walls, and floors) can be measured, fabricated, and installed for a custom fit and longer service life.

If mechanical issues are identified, the Cool Seal tech at the customer’s request will provide a referral to a pre-qualified, licensed mechanical contractor specializing in commercial refrigeration (see Strategic Alliances).

Cool Seal Gaskets (a commercial refrigeration gasket replacement service) operates outside of state licensing requirements for refrigeration contractors because no mechanical or electrical work is performed. As a specialty service that features fast-turnaround in any situation and improves equipment performance while reducing service costs, Cool Seal Gaskets enjoys endorsement from mechanical contractors (HVAC) and internal maintenance staff. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), particularly those that do not fabricate their own door seals, see Cool Seal Gaskets as a field resource that supports their new equipment sale. Restaurant suppliers can recommend Cool Seal Gaskets whether they sell new or used equipment (pre- or post-sale).

Refrigeration facts. Satisfy the inner geek:

Did you even know this?

The term refrigeration means cooling a space, substance or system to lower and/or maintain its temperature below the ambient one (while the removed heat is rejected at a higher temperature).[1][2] In other words, refrigeration is artificial (human-made) cooling.[3][4] Energy in the form of heat is removed from a low-temperature reservoir and transferred to a high-temperature reservoir. The work of energy transfer is traditionally driven by mechanical means, but can also be driven by heat, magnetismelectricitylaser, or other means. Refrigeration has many applications, including household refrigerators, industrial freezerscryogenics, and air conditioningHeat pumps may use the heat output of the refrigeration process, and also may be designed to be reversible, but are otherwise similar to air conditioning units.
